My Para Athlete DLO!
Kia Ora bloggers around the world 🌍👈, today I am blogging about my Paralympics athlete that I choose to do a DLO about. Well you all know that the 2021 Paralympics have started! The athlete that I choose to do a DLO about was Annie Maeve Kelly - Costello. She used to be a Para Swimmer but now she is retried and plays piano. I had to start a DLO and research about my Para athlete in lockdown. I still had time to watch the 2021 Paralympics. I had learnt a lot of facts by watching the Paralympics. One thing that shocked me is that how can you kick so fast if you are disabled. Just like I saw Sophie Pascoe the other day she lost her leg when she was 2 years old but she still kicks fast and she has won the most medals for NZ! Always remember winning starts from the beginning. You don't just win randomly you have to practice to achieve your goals. Anyways I had three options number one do a DLO in a google slideshow , or do a DLO in a google drawing and you can even do a DLO in a google doc. The other thing we can choose is to do is a type of descriptive writing. I did a poem about Annie! So enjoy reading my DLO and please leave some nice and thoughtful comments. Guess what last Friday I got a duffy certificate!! The best part is that when I get back to school I get to choose any book!
Hope you bloggers are safe and also father's day is coming up spend time with your father and make cards and food for your father. 👪
Down below is a photo of my certificate and my DLO. Enjoy reading it! 😁
Thank You for Reading My Post.
Hi Ibrahim. Congratulations on receiving a Duffy Certificate for your awesome work! That’s like a Gold Medal in Lockdown events. Tino pai! Super blog, reminding us that winning starts from the beginning. The Paralympians are an inspiration. Can you check the link for your Para Olympian poem, and your DLO, I can’t seem to open it.
ReplyDeleteI’m keen to read about Annie! Keep up the great work. Have a super weekend with your family.
Awesome work Ibrahim. Well done on your Duffy Certificate. The Paralympians are very dedicated individuals. It blows me away by what they can achieve and over come. Its all about hard work and effort. Sophie Pascoe is just so amazing. But I am looking forward to reading all about Annie. Keep up your great efforts & have a fabulous weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Ibrahim!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your poem, it is very well written!
It's pretty cool that she had a career as an athlete and is now developing her career as a musician. Good job on the Duffy Award! Well deserved:)
Keep up the fabulous blogging :)
