Today I will be blogging the graduation assembly practice. 🤯 Before that, I would like to tell you why we have a graduation assembly at our school, in the first place. The main reason being that everyone has a graduation assembly in their schools.😀 The other reason is that we can say goodbye to our teachers and friends. It's a special assembly for the year sixes.👍 In the graduation assembly it is your choice if you would like to say a few words. The things we have to practice in the assembly are: "The Siva Samoa Dance" , Speech (for the people who will be doing a speech) and the most important part we have to practice is the Karakia. 😱 We have to practice the full Karakia and we have to know it by heart. I know half of it by heart , I am still practicing at home. We have to practice all of these things  because we have to make this assembly as special and as fun as we can!😀 The reason why we have to make this the special assembly is that we were unable to go to camp but we couldn't and the other reason is, we are leaving.  😌 The year sixes are trying really hard to practice all these things for the assembly. So far for my speech I know what to say because the speech is my main thing I have to practice. On the day Ms Sands (my teacher) said that, pro camera people will be coming and we will be having a live stream in seesaw!🤯 We are doing a live stream in seesaw so the parents can watch, they can't come in the assembly because you know (COVID)!😐

We have been practicing the "Siva Samoa Dance". The thing I like about the dance we are doing the moves in time. The teachers said the only thing we need to work on is on our smiles. This made everyone laugh.😂 The best part is that I never ever forgot the moves on the Siva Samoa Dance. I know all the steps and am pretty good at it too.👀 The other thing we have to practice is the Karakia. The Karakia is kind of hard to practice by heart. 🤔  The Karakia is the most important thing we have to learn and revise. I forgot to tell you this but the teachers will be giving different types of awards to the students, and also this time we are doing the graduation assembly in our own school not in Waikowhai Intermediate School. That would be sooo exciting!😌 Thank you so much teachers for all your hard work and support I really appreciate it. I had so much fun this week!😉

Fun Learning For This Week! 😀😅

            Fun Learning For This Week! 😀😅

Today I am going to be blogging about the fun learning and the fun things I did this week!😱 This week Ms Sands (my teacher) told us that the online learning is different from what we do every week! Basically it was the student's choice what activity they want to do, yay!😅 She mentioned that their will be three boards this week. 🤔 The three main boards were: "fun board", "P.E board" and the "maths board". Sounds interesting, right? 😀 In the" fun board" there was this slideshow and we had to play different games. I will be linking the fun board slideshow and the games I played. I will be also be linking my google drawings because in the google drawings have linked the videos and photos of me playing the games!🤯 My favorite game from the fun board activity was called the make your own dance. I also liked the drawing game. All of the games I played this week were really educational and fun to play at home with your family. In some days it was our own choice to play whatever game we wanted to! 👍 Then there was the maths board. The maths board was also fun. 😏 In the maths board there was a slideshow where we had to solve problems and we had to do Fractions. We also had to do Props and Radios. I also got to make my own problem ( which was my favorite part). Finally the last board was the "P.E One". This week there was a lot of cool stuff you could do in P.E. I really liked all the P.E activities I did. 

The fun activities included building a hut , go on an adventure or do some warm ups.😀 My favorite activity form the P.E board was going on an adventure and building a hut. In my hut there is a lot of security gadgets. 😉 I've put a password, so that unknown people wouldn't enter, I have also put CCTV cameras. 🎥📷 Cool right. If you were to choose which board you like the most what would it be?🤔 My favorite one was the fun board because it had some of the coolest games ever. I would like to thank the teachers for all the hard work and for putting together tasks that were educational and entertaining. 😊This week I really liked the system of having three boards.😃Some of the tasks were really challenging but I overcame them all!!😊

Today I am going to be blogging about my favorite activities that, I did this week. 😆 Today I did an activity which was called, "Blackout Poem". 🤔 For those who don't know what a blackout poem is I will be explaining that to you later on. A blackout poem is grabbing any newspaper around you and going through it to find a text or phrase that you may like. When you have found your favorite piece of text, all you do is circle the words you like and blackout the words you don't need. Finally you save your poem!👍 Optional: If you want to make one yourself here is the link to the video tutorial: www.youtube.com. This week we did a lot of artwork. I also did the "Mandala Patterns" when I was at school!😱 On Monday everyone did their own Mandala Patterns. Here are some facts about what Mandala Patterns are and where they were originated : In the ancient Sanskrit language of Hinduism and Buddhism, mandala means “circle.” Traditionally, a mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. “It's all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the universe,” says artist Saudamini Madra. For more information click here. My favorite subject for this week is definitely this art project. Everyone's patterns were looking amazing. 😱

This week I did a lot of creative things. Thank you teachers for all the hard work and the support.😀 The teachers made sure the tasks were educational and fun to do. We also played some Te Reo Maori games.🤯 The games were amazing. I forgot the name of the games, though.😓 But at least I can show you the photos. If you know what the game's name, don't forget to tell me. The games taught me some Maori words like, Maui= left, Peke=jump and more. Some of the games were really challenging but I got to know how to play them. 😊 I think you bloggers should play the traditional Te Reo Maori game. It is really fun and great learning for us as well. We also went to the school pool this week!🏊 Only 7 people in our bubble swarm. We did a lot of swimming races. It was really fun swimming again in the pool, after 3 whole months! I really like whenever I swim with my friends. 😂 It was so hot this week so that's why we went to the school pool. Do you bloggers have a pool in your school?

              The Awesome Things I Did This Week!😀😂

Kia Ora bloggers from around the world 👉🌍. Today I will be blogging about the awesome things I did this week!😱 This week I did lots of amazing things which included doing my own persuasive writing. The theme of the persuasive writing ✍I did was called " Should we speak a second language. In my opinion we should speak another language. 🖎 My persuasive writing is down below if you want to have a read. The other awesome thing I did was I made my own kahoot. The kahoot was about Auckland city. It was really fun and interesting making the kahoot. If you want to create your own kahoot here is the link: create.kahoot.it/my-library/kahoots/favorites. As you know that the primary school students can go to school.🏫🎒 Guess what this week I went back to school (finally)!😲 It was really nice seeing everyone in person at school again. I was really happy when I saw my friends and the teachers in person. I was happy to be back but the rules were really different. As you know that each student has to be in their own group and in their own bubble. You can't be mixed with the other bubble and that you can't play with the people from the other group bubble. 🗩  My group/ bubble's name was 5A or was it 5B....umm. The teachers choose the bubbles for the students. But who cares I told myself. The best part is that on Monday the Seniors are going to be swimming in the school pool!🏊 That would be so cool! I am so looking forward to that!

I understand why the school had those rules. Thank you so much teachers for all your support and hard work. I really appreciate it.😊 This week I also made a banana cake which was so yummy!🍌🥮 I like banana cake so much that I ate it all. No extras were left for my family 👪 My favorite task for this week was making the banana cake. I hope you bloggers like that cake too. Who doesn't like banana cake it is so yum!👍 Miss Loh (one of my teachers) choose the banana cake task. Good choice Miss Loh. Today I got to watch a movie because it said it in the instruction board. 🎥 Today I watched Godzilla VS Kong. What movie would you watch if you had a choice?  That was another fun activity that I really liked. The teachers choose all the educational and the fun activities. I also played same games this week. The game was called "Tama Ta" that means Simon says! I had to practice saying everything in Maori and then me and my brother played the game. The game was really fun and I got to polish up on my Maori as well.

Today I am going to be blogging about my learning for this week!📕 This week we did most of the stuff from the books that everyone got, from their packs that the Ministy of Education sent.😆 There were lot's of workbooks in the pack we got. My favorite workbook was the homework and the science book.📚 The other thing I liked about this week was that there was a slideshow called "Weekly PE Challenges".🏅 The slideshow had lot's of challenges you could do this week. That was so far my favorite slideshow. I have linked all of my work in my lockdown creations you will get to see the P.E slideshow.😀 The P.E one was kind of challenging for me but, it was really cool playing different games form different countries. 🎲 The other really cool activity I liked was the "Monster Pancake". 💀 The monster pancakes had a really interesting taste. It was okay and werent that bad, though. 🥞 I still like the original pancakes better. Its good that we did some of our work in the books📕 because, I don't always like doing it digital.💻 What would you like the best? Thank you so much teachers for all your support, comments and hard work.😊 

I learned a really interesting fact from the homework book. Did you know: That the world's largest kite museum is in Weifang,China. 🪁 The museum was established in 1989.  I never know that wow! Good piece of information! This is why I really liked the homework book it gave me lot's of facts and interesting things to read. When I saw the image of the museum I was like whoa!😀 I hope we do these kind of stuff next week or in the future. Another fact I learned was that, when computers first came they had air conditioner in them! This was so that the computers wouldnt overheat and explode 🤯 These were the two awesome facts I found out this week that I really liked.

Narrative Text Writing! ✍

Kia ora bloggers from around the world👉🌍. Today I am going to be blogging about my narrative writing!😆 Last week I did an activity based on fables. This week it was based on narrative writing. I am also going to be telling you about what narrative writing and fantasy text mean.😊 Fantasy writing is writing set in an imaginary universe, often but not always without any locations, events, or people from the real world. Magic ,the supernatural and magical creatures are common in many of these imaginary worlds. It's like when you read imaginary tales of far off places and previous events. This week I made my own morphed animal as well. If you want to make your own morphed animal here is the link to the web: switchzoo.com/newzoo/. 👍 I got to read some really cool fairy tales this week! 📖 I still enjoyed reading and listening to different fairy tales from different countries and cultures. My favorite part about narrative writing was when I created my own mythical morphed animal and getting to create my own narrative writing.✍ Thank you so much teachers for making the slideshow and the question pallet for us. 📑 I really liked how the narrative slideshow was designed. Some of the fairy tales had good moral lessons about life that we all should try to incorporate into our own lives!

For example never ever talk or go with a stranger!👀 My favorite fairy tale was the "Ginger Beard Man". 🍞 This fairy tale was really hilarious!I kept laughing because the gingerbread man sounded so funny and mischievous. If you have read the fairy tales, let me know how you found them. 📘 "Pinocchio" is another fairy tale that I really liked. It had its emotional ups and downs and was a fun read. 🕮 In the narrative writing slideshow you could ask a questions. The teachers made a pallet for everyone , (which was really cool).

Science Experiments I Did This Week! 🤯🧨

Kia ora bloggers around the world 👉🌍. Today I am going to be blogging about two of the  experiments, I did this week! 😱 Last week I did the water traveling experiment. This week I did two experiments.One was called the "lava lamp" and the other was called the "secret message'. Both of the experiments were educational and really fun to do. 😃 Remember to not touch the lava lamp, as it gets really really hot! To do the secret message experiment the instructions will be in the first slide. If you want to do the lava lamp experiment the video is in the google drawing. Don't worry because I linked the new google drawing for the lava lamp experiment. 😆 You can do both if you want to! When I saw that we can do experiments for our other tasks I got really excited because, I really like doing science experiments. 😂 You get to learn new and cool things while doing these experiments which makes it even better to do. You can then pass your knowledge to more people. I hope you like doing experiments as much as I do. 👍 . 💥 My favorite experiment was the lava lamp experiment as it was really fun and interesting to do. You can make your lamp red or green! 😁 I choose green because I did not have the color red.

           My Fables And My Science Experiment.📑⏳

Kia ora bloggers from around the world👉🌍. Today I am going to be blogging about my, fables and my science experiment I did this week. 😆 But first I am going to be talking about my fables. I have finally finished it!😊. This week I read a lot of awesome fables and some gave me really good ideas. My favorite fable is the Tortoise 🐢and the Hare🐰. I like this fable because the Hare kept showing off to other animals that he is the strongest and fastest. But then the Tortoise proved him wrong!😃  I have linked the fables doc or you can look at slide number 14, and then click the doc. Finally you bloggers can read my fable. I hope you enjoy reading that. 👀 Today I had to illustrate and then edit it all. This week I really enjoyed the writing task. Now I know what fables actually mean. I really like when we do the writing and reading task because, I really like reading stories and writing about them.📚 Tell me if you created or have any new ideas for your own fable! I think you bloggers should also create your own fable now you know what it means so create it. I hope we do these kind of tasks later in the term as well. This week's writing was really absorbing. I would really like to thank the teachers for all the hard work you do for us students. Thank you teachers for all of your support.

Now I would like to talk about the experiment I did this week!⏳ The science experiment was called water traveling. The experiment looked amazing and, it changed to alot of different colors. On Thursday I had to choose one experiment I could either do the bouncy eggs or I could do the water traveling.🌊 So I choose the water traveling one. I choose the water traveling because I have already done the bouncy egg  experiment. 🤯 Anyways the instruction board said that, both of the experiments would take one or two days to complete.  I am so happy that the water traveling experiment turned out great. 👍 After doing the experiment I took photos.📷  I also wrote the equipment required for this experiment and why the water traveled from one place through the tissue to the other. I wrote the equipment and the reason in the science experiment drawing. I have linked the drawing and the video to the science experiment if you want to try it at home.🏠  Please do have a go at it at home with your family, (and also tell me if you did). I really loved the experiment, it was fascinating and fun to do at home if you get bored. Anyways I really appreciate what we did this week.                         My Brainstorming. ( For Fables) 🧠

Kia Ora,bloggers from around the world👉🌍. Today I am blogging about my brainstorming for my fables. On slide number 12 you can see my brainstorming and I even wrote a reason why I choose this fable. I am going to be writing a fable about a boy called Yasin who came from another country , and how the other boys made fun of him. After reading a few fables , I really liked this one and wanted to share it. It teaches us a simple moral lesson about life and traditions.This fable talks about how you need to respect other people's religion and not make fun of them. You should welcome them to your school and welcome them whole heartedly.  😊 It took me a long time to figure out what I should do. This fable gives a very important message of being kind and accepting towards people. I thought the other boy's name should be Max. So far that was my brainstorming. I hope you like my idea please tell me if you did. I really liked my own idea and I can't wait for you to read the whole fable.

For whose who do not know what fables are today I will be telling you what they are. 😃 Fables are a short story that teach us a moral lesson about life or traditions . People used to tell fables so they can pass their traditional knowledge on and on. Specially Irish people, who tell a lot of fables. I know that's pretty cool. I really enjoyed today's writing activity. ✍ On Friday I am going to be blogging about my own fable story. Learning For This Week!

                                   Learning For This Week!📑✍

Kia ora bloggers from around the world🌍👈, today I will be blogging about my learning for this week! I can't wait to tell you what I did this week. Enjoy reading!😆 As you know, when we finish all of our work like: math, reading, writing and more, we link our work to a slideshow. I am so happy we have one slideshow to link our work to because last term we had to open up two slideshows, one was for reading and writing and the other was for math. This week's tasks were really different and interesting. 🤔 I love when we do school work everyday. I am always pumped up! The task I liked this week was for math , it was the polygons that we had to name and classify. For writing I liked the grammar sheet it was called the collective nouns. Lastly for reading I liked the personal response. My favorite part was obviously the fitness plan that I created for this term. I created my new fitness plan because I had been doing the last term's one. Don't worry because the fitness plan is going to be linked to the slideshow. I was really happy when term 4 was here I finally got to see my friends and do tasks. I learned a lot this week. Fun fact; Did you know that planet Mars makes a humming sound? I learned that from when we were doing a kahoot.  Also the kahoot I did this week was really interesting it gave me a lot of facts, that I did not know before.

Another favorite part I liked about the school work is when I am linking all of my work I did this week. That is the coolest part about the school work I do. I hope you bloggers do the same at your school 😊. I really appreciate that there is an instruction board that tells us what we are going to be doing this week! This week I did the longest kahoot ever it was 40 questions long. The teachers took a lot of time making that kahoot. It would have took me forever to make that kahoot. I really enjoyed doing this week's tasks it was really fun. I hope we do these kind of stuff next week.😀 I would also thank the teachers for their support and hard work.😊

Lockdown Highlights (Term 3)

                             Lockdown Highlights 🔐 (Term 3)

Kia ora bloggers from around the world 👉🌍.Today I am going to be blogging about my lockdown highlights for Term 3. I had a lot of work that I did during this term. To be honest, I enjoyed lockdown in term 3. It was fun doing different tasks and then linking it to a slideshow. I have a lot of memories from term 3. My teacher (Ms Sands) told us we have to take a screenshot of all the extra activities and then put the photos in a slideshow we did last term, not maths , reading and writing. The task I liked the most was the card building I liked it because I was challenging myself that I can build a tower from a pack of cards. That was pretty fun.😀  I also like when we put photos of our different dress ups 👗we did in our meets. That slideshow is my second favorite slideshow. I was really happy I finished the slideshow of the things we did last term because I really wanted to blog about the staff I have been doing. I hope your school did something similar to what we did. My favorite part about the school tasks is that you can take photos and videos of what you are doing. I liked all of the other subject as well though. I like when the tasks are really challenging because you can then really push ourselves. That's why I liked the card building task because it was challenging (actually it took me one hour to build a card tower).😱 So if you ever try to build a tower with a pack of cards I am telling you it is really hard! Anyway I really liked the tasks we had to do last term they were interesting. I like the tasks from this term too. I like when we make videos and take photos of the creative staff we our doing at home. For example, like the nature art that we did. I found that was really creative. It was my third  favorite task.📘 I hope we do these kind of tasks this term or when we get back to school.🤞 I also like when the teachers pass nice comments and compliment my work. Thank you teachers for the support! I really liked last term's lockdown. It was fun! 😆

My Holidays!!

                                               My Holidays!!😀

Kia ora bloggers from around the world👉🌍, hope you enjoyed your holidays. Today I am going to be blogging about my holidays. I really enjoyed my holidays so much. We did a lot of activities like: we went to the beach, we did experiments and we did more activities. I had an amazing time with my family. My favorite activity was the when I went to a  picnic with my family in a park. It was really fun. We played soccer and had ice cream aftwerwards. Whenever me and my family stayed home we would do science experiments. Like I did the making of slime. About the slime eperiment,well we made the slime but it smelled really weird so we threw it away. I am thinking of making a another one but it's going to be a monster slime. Anyway I also did the science workbook that I got from my pack it was really interesting. Sometimes I would play cricket , football or more sports that includes a lot of players.⚽  I loved spending time with my family. It was lockdown but we still had a lot of fun spending time with each other and doing lot of activities mostly outside. It's good that I did not spend time mostly inside because I would get bored and do nothing. In the holidays we also got to see some farm animals. Like: horses, sheep , chicken and goat. The goat that I saw looked like oat the goat. The cute animals were the horses sheeps and the chickens. We also saw a bull but the sign said that we can't go near the bull or else he will attack people. 👿  That was all the activities I did with my family we also went for walks and runs. Sometimes I had to do my chores which was fine. The two week holidays went really fast. One more thing I also got a haircut during the holidays finally! 

Anyways the best part about my holidays were that we went to drives and we also went to the beach to walk and eat ice cream. I wish we could to all those staff again if we ever get time to. But I am really happy to see my teacher and my friends. I just still hope that we go to camp fingers cross we do.🤞I also did my fitness plan in the holidays. So I still get fit.
